Tim
Majerus is the Assistant
Principal and Activities Director here at Fergus High School.
We are very fortunate to have him at FHS. His
experiences in all levels of elementary and secondary education are
particularly valuable, as is his experience in vocational education.
Mr.
Majerus has been with the school since the 2003.
He started his teaching career in 1990 and his
experiences include serving as a
principal for 8 years (4
years in Fort Benton, 1 in Missoula and 3 in Alaska) and
teacher since 1990. His main duties,
as Assistant Principal, are to keep track of attendance, discipline, student activities
and "helping students make good choices." His duties as Activities Director are
to work with the Athletic Director to manage and promote all activities programs.
Some of his activities include scheduling, evaluating coaches, and implementing district
policies.
Mr.
Majerus was born in Lewistown and raised in
Moore, earning a Bachelors degree
from Montana State University and his Masters degree from
University of Alaska - Southeast, in
Juneau. He and his wife
Teresa have two children.
